چکیده

METHODS. Mouse TM in situ was studied by light and electron microscopy (EM). In addition, TM was isolated from the H-2K-tsA58 transgenic mouse strain in which promoter sequences of the major histocompatibility complex H-2K class 1 gene are fused to sequences of the SV40 mutant temperature-sensitive (ts) strain tsA58. The promoter is inducible by interferon (IFN)-y, and the tsA58 gene product is active at 33°C (permissive conditions), but not at 37°C (nonpermissive conditions). The TM explant was cultured in permissive conditions. Outgrowing cells were passaged through two rounds of single-cell cloning. One clonal cell line (MUTM-NEI/1) was characterized in nonpermissive conditions by EM, immunohistochemistry, reverse transcriptionpolymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), and northern blot hybridization. In addition, MUTM-NEI/1 cells were transfected with plasmid DNA.

Development of characterization of a immortal and differentiated murine trabecular meshwork cell line.

PURPOSE To study mouse trabecular meshwork (TM) and to develop a murine TM cell line. METHODS Mouse TM in situ was studied by light and electron microscopy (EM). In addition, TM was isolated from the H-2K(b)-tsA58 transgenic mouse strain in which promoter sequences of the major histocompatibility complex H-2Kb class 1 gene are fused to sequences of the SV40 mutant temperature-sensitive (ts) s...

A cloned, immortal line of murine melanoblasts inducible to differentiate to melanocytes.

Cultures of differentiated melanocytes can readily be grown from the dissociated epidermis of neonatal mice, and immortal cell lines often develop from these. However, the first cells that grow and transiently dominate the cultures, while similar to melanocytes, are unpigmented. These have been shown to be precursors of melanocytes and may be termed melanoblasts. Under our previous standard cul...

Identification and characterization of mesenchymal stem cells derived from the trabecular meshwork of the human eye.

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) have been isolated from several adult human tissues. Their propensity to differentiate into cell types of connective tissue, such as osteocytes, chondrocytes, and adipocytes, suggests that MSC may function as a reserve of progenitor cells that repair and maintain healthy adult tissues. Dysfunction of the trabecular meshwork (TM), a connective tissue at the anterior ...

Development and Cytogenetic Characterization of a Continuous Bovine Kidney Cell Line (IRKHBK) and Evaluation its Susceptibility to some Viruses

In this syudy a continuous bovine kidney cell line derived from a primary bovine kidney cells was established for the first time in Iran. The cells were originating from two-day-old normal male calf of Holstein breed. The cell cultures were continuously passaged following complete proliferation of primary cells. The specific properties or characteristics of the cell were defined using cytogenet...

Production and Characterization of a Monoclonal Antibody against an Antigen on the Surface of Non-Small Cell Carcinoma of the Lung

Background: Lung carcinoma is a multiple type cancer comprising of small cell and non-small cell carcinomas (NSCLC). For therapeutic and diagnostic purposes, serum monoclonal antibodies have been produced against lung cancer. Objective: To charac-terize a murine monoclonal antibody (ME3D11) reactive with human NSCLC. Methods: A murine monoclonal antibody (ME3D11) reactive with human NSCLC was s...
